Freya Gruenhagen

Resident Representative

As the Resident Representative of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) in Namibia, Freya has been heading fesmedia Africa as the Director since June 2019. Freya's areas of responsibility include conceptualising working lines and the overall project, finance team and office management. Regarding working lines, her particular interest lies in the importance of access to information for democracy development and citizens' participation in the region.

Dickson Kasote

Programme Manager

As the Programme Manager, Dickson contributes to the conceptualization of the lines of work and oversees the planning and implementation of activities. He is also responsible for quality management and developing Fesmedia Africa's partner networks. Dickson joined fesmedia in February 2021.

Maya Kotungondo

Programme Support Manager

Maya is responsible for managing the main support functions of Fesmedia Africa, including general administration, events management and technical Zoom administration. Additionally, she is the focal point of FES' sexual harassment policies. Maya joined fesmedia in February 2021.

Khadijah C.T. Muntjintja

Public Relations Officer (FES Namibia Country Office and Fesmedia Africa)

As Public Relations Officer, Khadijah is responsible for external communication, including social media platforms, websites and media relations. Khadijah joined Fesmedia Africa in February 2021.
