Right to Information Training for Civil Society and Journalists Now Open for Registration!

This year's theme for International Day for Universal Access to Information on 28 September is BUILDING BACK BETTER WITH ACCESS TO INFORMATION.

The course is structured as follows:

  • Introduction
  • Module 1: Introduction to the Right to Information
  • Module 2: The Legal Framework for the Right to Information
  • Module 3: Making and Processing Requests
  • Module 4: Interpreting Exceptions
  • Module 5: Appeals and Promotional Roles

It contains reading materials, videos, games, quizzes, additional resources, and the opportunity to engage with expert moderators and fellow course participants. It is expected that participants will need 3-5 hours per module which are offered over a four week period. Those who successfully complete the modules will receive a certificate.
